Christmas Sharing: December 8 and 10, 2022

It’s Christmas Sharing time again! Christmas Sharing of Wheaton Warrenville served over 750 families last year. As our economy continues to be affected by the pandemic, we trust the need to be even greater for 2022.

During November, students in School District 200 will be able to donate gift cards or online funds to help less fortunate families in our area. Sponsored by School District 200, churches in Wheaton and Warrenville, individuals, and businesses, this program reaches to the corners of our community.

Families apply to participate in the program through their children’s school. They are then sent a letter of invitation to come to one of the three locations to pick up the gifts. Our collections will be mainly online and our distributions will be mainly drive through – though you may be able to donate diapers through your children’s school classrooms. Distributions will take place at the following locations (only):

•  Dupage County Fairgrounds, Bldg. #1 hosted by Wellspring Alliance on Thursday, December 8
•  Holy Cross Lutheran on Saturday, December 10
•  St. John Lutheran on Saturday, December 10

Wheaton churches assisting the Distribution are: Aldersgate United Methodist, First Presbyterian, Faith Evangelical Covenant, Gary United Methodist and Trinity Episcopal. Warrenville churches assisting are: Community Baptist, Immanuel Presbyterian, St. Irene Roman Catholic, and Trinity Lutheran.

This quiet miracle has happened in our community every year for the past 52 years. Won’t you please find it in your heart to help others that need help the most?
