There are Many Ways to Help

Donate Money to Christmas Sharing

Your donations to Christmas Sharing enable us to buy new toys and food for our guests. As an all volunteer organization, our overhead is almost non-existent. All donations are tax deductible.

Donate Goods to Christmas Sharing

Christmas Sharing allows our guests to select needed items from collected goods. We will gladly accept donations of new or gently used toys, clothing, kitchen utensils, and blankets or linens. Ideally, delivery of goods would be during the last two weeks in November. Please go to our church list and find the church that is most convenient to you and arrange delivery with them. Please note — Trinity Episcopal Church does not collect clothing or household goods.

Donate Food Gift Cards to Christmas Sharing

For our Warrenville guests, instead of prepared food boxes, gift cards for the local food stores are provided. If you would like to donate gift cards for a week’s worth of food for a family, contact Community Baptist Church, in Warrenville, at (630) 393-9609.

Donate a Food Box to Christmas Sharing

One of the ways many of our donor families help is by donating food. Although loose donations are welcome, we encourage families to buy a complete food box for a family. The downloadable food list shows our goal to provide a week’s worth of non-perishable food plus some staples and paper products to each family. Make it a family outing to buy your food box and get your children involved. Arrange delivery with the church most convenient to you.

Help at a Christmas Sharing Site

It takes many hands to collect, sort, and organize our donations and then help our guests shop for their needs and get them to their homes. Especially during the week of December 9–14, 2019 each church distribution site can use willing help. Please contact a convenient church site to find out what kind of volunteers we are in need of and when they are needed.
